Worm Farm

 Kia ora, 

For a couple of weeks in inquiry we have been learning about worms not just orangery worms we used tiger worms. the tiger worms are why easier to put in a worm farm. Because tiger worms are great for worm farms and they make worm tea that you can feed your garden and they would be nice and lovely but here is my work.

Calendar Art

For a couple of weeks we have been doing calendar art. The calendar art I choose was dot art with Ms McLeod this calendar art was a little tricky because when you had to do the dots and some of the dots were really small but then you could do some big dots. But when you did the dots it was a pretty easy pretty hard because when you did the small dots you had to put a little bit of paint on the cotton bud and when you had to do a big dot you had to put a little bit more paint then when you did the small dots anyways  here is my work.

Zoos are curl and the animals should be released into the wild Research Activity

For a couple of weeks we have been reading about zoos keeper's should release animals to the wild and the people in zoos are curl have done and research about like how many animals are in what every zoo your doing and the zoo that I am doing is the Omaha zoo but anyways there were question that were How many animals are in your zoo and the other question is Does Omaha zoo offer  Educational Facilities and the last question is Does this zoo attempt to conserve endangered species and now lets here is my work.

How Dogs Are Better Pets Than Cats.

Kia ora today in Miss McLeod writing we had to do a piece of writing to persuade others that dogs are better pets than cats   or other stuff there was different topics I picked dogs are better pets than cats ... read my writing to find out and comment if you agree or disagree. what i found hard was writing the middle paragraphs what I found easy was the writing ending.

Dogs Are A Better Pets Than Cats

Don’t you think dogs are better than cats? In my opinion dogs are better pets than cats. I think you should have a dog because dogs are  better pets. This is because dogs can keep you safe, how dogs are easy to look after and they can help you get fit.

Firstly, dogs can keep you safe from strangers that are hurting you or are about to hurt you. Dogs like all kinds of people but not mean people. Mean people can teach the dogs bad things, for example they bite people, chase people and if they are near a farm and they let the dog go it can eat all of the farm animals. Most dogs can hear from far away and if someone is getting hurt or in danger the dogs can come and rescue them.

Secondly, dogs are easier to look after because if you're sick your dog can help you. They can bring anything you need and if you are  hurt your dog can help you if you're hurt or sick. If they are hungry they can bark at you and bring you to their food bowl and water bowl. If they have no food left they bark at you and they can show you that they have no more food and it's time for you to go buy some dog food.

Finally, dogs can help you get fit. When you take your dog out for a walk or a run. When you run or walk you can go with your dog. If you don't want to do it your dog will help you walk with them or run with them. If your dog wants to help you they can help by helping you up and picking the right clothes that you need to have a run or a walk.

In conclusion, in my opinion I say that dogs are better pets than cats for example dogs can care about you they can be there for you they will do whatever you want them to do. But cats are okay. It's just because sometimes your cat will run away from you and sometimes the cat will always sleep. I think you should have a dog as your pet. Don’t you think dogs are better than cats?         

What we did for Maths

Today for  maths with Miss McClelland we did 5 minute intervals. But first we did this game that is called bingo, if you don´t know how to play it here are some of the instructions for bingo. First you get a board from the person that is calling out the numbers then you will need some counters and you will need six or more depends how much you have on your board then the person that is calling out the numbers will say a number and you have to see if you have that number. But now i will tell you about the 5 minute intervals. 5 minutes interval is when you read a clock that has different times like 3:20 but this is wrong here is the right time 20 past 3 is the time to that answer. But anyways here is my work. and have you down this before? and here is clock that i used.

what we did for think about it Friday

Today for think about it Friday with Miss Williamson we did five ways to well being. Here are the names of the boxes first one is connect. Connect is like the people that you want to connect to like family members cousins aunties and uncles Second Give. Give is like you baked something and you are giving it to someone like again family members and more third one is take notice. Take notice means like I notice your friends are talking or family members and more. Number four is keep learning keep learning is you want to learn how to plat football, soccer, hockey and more. Here is the last one Be active so like going for running with your dog and walking with your dog, now I am going to shoe you my work. Sorry if it is small.

What we did for think about it Thursday.

Today for think about it Thursday we did why do bees sting you.  Bees only sting you when you get close to there hive, when you step on them and more. There is you a lot of different bees there are honey bees, bumble bees,  queen bee and a lot more bees. If there was no bees there would be no honey or there would not be any pretty flowers here is a photo of my work hope you like it. And

what we did for feel good friday.

Today for feel good Friday we did what we are grateful for. I am grateful for a lot of things but there was only 5 petals so that means I only did 5. Some of them I am really grateful and some I'm like a fan but not that much. Here is my what am I grateful flower. And have you done one of these before ?

What we did for a quality blog post

Today in Miss McLeod writing group we learnt what is a quality blog post. A quality blog post is like when it is really good and interesting so like you really want to read more and more that means you love it and you kept on going threw there blog. Today for Te Reo Tuesday, We learnt where things are and how to say it in Maori like Kei hea te pukapuka? and that means where is my book and you say Kei raro te pukapuka i te tepu that means your book is underneath the table. here is a link that if you click into it will go into my work. Today Miss McLeod's writing group used pixton. Pixton is a really call app if you are like making a slide show or a animation but it is are really cool app you need to try it but anyway in Miss McLeod's writing group. We did a truth or lie like show and the person that was the helper told us one truth and one lie and you guys have to try find out what was the lie and what one was the truth. Today in writing with Miss McLeod we did a comic the theme for the comic is dinosaur's. There is this app called pixton it is really fun to make these comic on here and I'm glad Miss McLeod  showed us this app it is amazing and you can also use it. But anyway this comic is about dinosaurs because what if we did go in to the olden days like long time ago to see the dinosaurs. But anyway here is the link to pixton and the photo.  Today we made these sand saucers and I but in flowers, leaves and stones and my favorites flowers is the white, purple, pink and the green flower these were so fun to make.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Miss McLeod writing group learnt to make a comic. Our theme was what we had on our backet list. I had on my backet list was that I want to be a basketball star and we used Pixton it is a really cool like app and you can like make comic's and that is what Miss McLeod told us and showed us.                 What would you ask to a snake if you could.

Today in reading with Miss McLeod is reading us a Harry potter book.  well we were listening to it and  then after we  were listening we did this. We had to write what we would say to a snake  like if we could talk to it Miss McLeods whole group did it and here's mine. I said why do you bite people? Because you know that they won't like snakes anymore and there are some people that have allergic reaction, people will have to go to the hospital  if you bite them. 
They will have to get medicine into there other hand that doesn't hurt. And the medicine is really cold when it first goes into your non sore hand. Sometimes it hurts a lot more then you think.  And are you cold bleeded? And sorry if its small. If you could talk to a snake what will you say?

What I made with my mum and sister

If  we are in lockdown me and my mum and sister can bake but we already have been baking well we are in this lockdown. Its really fun and then when you stop baking it becomes boring, boring again, again. But anyway here are photos that my mum have tacking well me and my sister roll out the dough and blend things up. so we made home made burgers for dinner, we made short bread for like a snack, lolly cake, chocolate muffins, Anzac biscuits and we made panipopo and we made alot more but we didn't take photos when we were making them. Can you answer this? which one is your favorite recipe to bake with so far?

Building self-esstem

Last week in my class pūnui-o-toka we did this activity. And we had a piece of black paper and we glue our faces down onto the black piece  of paper. The teachers gave as a paper that had words that is nice. the hard thing was picking and cut the easiest was gluing it down to the black paper.
